How to Split a PDF Online Free — Extract Pages Without Software
Split a PDF into separate pages or extract a specific page range online. Free, no upload, no account. Works in any browser.
Quick Answer: Go to ViewAnyFile.app/tools/pdf-split, upload your PDF, enter the page range (e.g. "1-3, 5") or choose to split all pages, then download. Free, no upload, runs in your browser.
Two Ways to Split a PDF
Option 1: Extract a page range
Enter the pages you want in the format 1-3, 5, 7-10. The tool creates a new PDF containing only those pages. Useful for:
- Extracting a specific chapter from a large document
- Pulling out one section to share without the rest
- Removing pages you do not need before sending
Option 2: Split every page (ZIP download)
Splits the PDF so each page becomes a separate PDF file, then packages them all in a ZIP archive for download. Useful for:
- Processing individual pages separately
- Converting each page to an image (split first, then use PDF to JPG)
- Distributing pages individually
How It Works
- Go to ViewAnyFile.app/tools/pdf-split
- Drop your PDF — you will see the total page count
- Choose your mode: extract range, or split all
- Click Extract/Split — download your PDF or ZIP
Everything runs in your browser using pdf-lib. No server receives your file at any point.
